Panel 1: Daniel smiles, the first genuine smile we've seen from him.

Panel 2: Still smiling, Daniel replies "Sure. I can do that." Denver rubs at his neck absent-mindedly.

Panel 3: Daniel grabs the microphone to speak into it. He says, "But hey all, just so you know. You don’t have to come all the way up here to ask for a song. You can just yell it at me."

Panel 3: Daniel smirks at the audience as he goes on, "I’ll either hear it, or pretend I didn’t." Denver walks way from the stage, his hands in his pockets, laughing embarrassedly. Behind him, Daniel continues, "Sort of hard to ignore that request though. Just this once, I'll play a song on the house."

Panel 4: Denver, still embarrassed, returns to his seat. Rorie leans forward to yell, "What the hell was that?! Was it Daniel?" Denver answers, "Uhh, yeah. I think so."

?Daniel's genuine smile alert ? It's fleeting, but it's there!!! Also, fun fact. The Black Sabbath song Daniel will end up playing is "Paranoid," but because lyrics are copyrighted and it's a process to get the rights to print 'em in a comic, this will never be clear in the comic itself. You just gotta trust me on this.
